Il est d’origine bosniaque dans la série qu’il a joué aprés gumus, c’est à dire menekse ile halil.

Turkey is a uniter country like the USA. We have different mixed origins therefore; you can’t say that Kivanc is a Bosnian!He is Turkish! I’m sorry turkish girl; but what you say is totally subjective and wrong. You cannot evaluate an actress by her beauty; it’s just an ignorant attitude. The matter is not whether she is gorgeous or not. And also she is beautiful; she is of course not fascinating and gorgeous but she is pretty. by the way turkish girl, it is not “a uniter country”; the true term is a “unitary state” that means “üniter devlet”. And the term unitary state is not related with the sub-identities of the people, so your mentioning of this term is actually meaningless:) because you use it in a wrong way. He is of course not Bosnian, but a Turk from Bosnian origins. Ans that has noting to do with being a unitary state which is the character of a state, meaning it is not a federation, confederation or a highly decentralized state. But it is a whole and a single state with the same laws effective in any part of the country.
He is from a semi Bosnian and semi Serbian origin when they first came to Turkey in order to escape from the Balkan Wars during 1912-3. Those escaping to Turkey during the Balkan Wars were all muslim Balkan residents. 6 million Turks and 2 million Albanians had been killed during Balkan Wars by Greeks, Bulgarians, Serbs and Montenegro people and these wars eliminated the muslim majority in the Balkans (that is additional information:))

You understood what I mean country or state it doesn’t matter. People living in Turkey have different origins but they are Turkish citizen so no one say separate they as Bosnian or someone else besides, these people who are from different origins get married so their children half-bred. Kivanc’s origin may be Bosnian but no one proof that he is a pure Bosnian since we don’t know whether his ancestors got married with an Albenian or Turkish, Kurdish etc. or not.And additinol information according to genetic researches genetic inherities of people living in Anatolia more similar to Greek and Armenian people than Middle Asian Turkish but we all call ourselves as Turkish!(By the way I am an Geneticist and got this information from a professor studying in Boagazici University during her seminar).And about songul Oden I can criticize this series’ casting preference. This is my right.And I say Songul Oden can be a talented actress but I don’t find her enough beautiful for Kivanc Tatlitug. Moreover, I have read some comments about Songul Oden is beautiful but Azra Akin is not , this was really funny:)

Tina, I absolutely agree with you. Songul Oden is a very classy one. She is beautiful both inside and outside. She has a very sexy eyes and she is elegant. She is the prettiest girl in Gumus film. Kivanc is also handsome. And of course the producers chose the best women for Kivanc and and man for songul. That’s why many people become obssessed with the film. Besides the plot it is the actor and actrosses that made the movie wonderful.

People are so stupid to discuss religion of Kivanc and Songul. WHAT DIFFERENCE
does it make. Fairouz the greatest Lebabanese singer is catholic, she is loved by millions Christians and Muslim. Kivanc and Songul are loved by millions Christians and Moslim, You are so stupid if you think religion is the most important aspect of a person’s life I love Songul and Kivanc as actors as couples, I am not moslim and I am the least concerned about their religion. They say our family came from Southern Turkiye and moved to Lebanon and Syria, so we could be Kurdish I don’t know. They say Songul had Kurdish or Zaza origin I don’t know. Remember before Islam people were Jewish, Christians or others, so everyone came from different origins. People from Atalia were Greek. people in southern Turkiye were arabs, so people change. ‘Nour’ will reunite lead actors Tatlitug and Oden
MBC, the Arab world’s leading free-to-air TV net, is preparing to make a film out of Turkish sudser “Nour,” which became a pop-culture phenomenon when it aired across the Arab world last year.
Project will reunite Turkish thesps Kivanc Tatlitug and Songul Oden, who captured the hearts of Arab auds in their husband-and-wife roles of Muhannad and Nour, respectively.
“Nour,” a Turkish melodrama that MBC execs dubbed into Arabic using a colloquial Syrian dialect rather than formal, classical Arabic, followed the travails of a beautiful young woman who marries into a wealthy family.
The show’s final episode attracted a record 85 million Arab viewers when it aired last Aug. 30.
The feature version, which MBC will co-produce with Turkish shingle Momentum Prods., will have a budget in the $2.5 million-3.5 million range and will also be shot in Turkish before being dubbed into Arabic.
The success of “Nour” for MBC has sparked a boom in dubbed Turkish dramas across many leading Arab satcasters.
MBC even launched a pay TV channel in partnership with pay TV platform Showtime Arabia entirely dedicated to “Nour” that allows viewers to watch episodes of the sudser around the clock.
The feature version, which will not be a straight adaptation of the TV show but rather an all new storyline featuring the same actors, is likely to go into production by spring.
Both Tatlitug and Oden have become huge stars across the Arab world, having been featured in promo and ad campaigns, despite the fact that neither actually speaks any Arabic.

I read almost all posts fr beg.and realised 2 things;1-it is hard to understand for our arabic friends,that there are other way/version of a muslim life from arabic world.we,in most,turkey have totaly different comprehension and daily practice than arabs.So,you should understand and accept that you can not say ”there is only one version of islam which is like arabic countries(mostly like in arabic peninsula/gulf)” for exemple;people do not see any problem taking alcholic drinks although they keep their religious practice daily.Also,nost of people do not do their daily practice 5 times a day in turkey.It is very normal and you can not ask them why they do not.
2-About origin of turkish stars.It is another issue you must know some information.During from beg.1800 to 1930’s or 1940’s,while Ottoman empire was collapsing;as lost lands to Britans /French or Rusian invations,people who thinks they belong to anatolia pick up their belongigns and moved to here.These big moving are not limited only with Greece,Bulgaria,Romania,Bosnia,Macedonia, Serbia or Austria,also moved from egypt,Palestine,Syria,Iraq,Georgia,Crimi etc. to Anatolia.Over several millions moved.It was very big diasaster and turks became very soon to feel forgeting wounds of this collapse.
Today,it is very normal for a person who has an european or mid eastern or caucasian origin.Not a question for anyone,because everybody knows,at least half of people’s acestory has outside of anatolia.now mix-up a new nation called turkish.

Kivanch has origins from Serbia-Bosnia. That is why he has some handsome looks because Yugoslav people have a majority of beautiful people and are better looking than other Europeans, Turks tend to look like middle easterners except those who got mixed with more European people. Why is Kivanc Serbian???Because,Turkey is a country who change you the name,religion,origin etc etc.I have been in a visit in Turkey and I have so many relatives there.I’m Albanian,but in Turkey we call these Albanians-Arvanits.You know what Turkey have done,or turks in Albanians.They fighted in the Balkans,for religion.All Albanians have been Christinas,and the turks have changed them religion,customs and other things.They cut-off there all organs,heads and others and they have used to be forced for Albanians for 500 years.You know this history,if you had read the history of Albanians and the people in the Balkans.He can be a Bosnian,but bosnians speak Serbian Language and they have been converted into islamic religion.They are serbians of muslim religion.This is true,and we cannot change the reality.Since I saw the face of Kivanc I was suspicous that he is not e Turkish guy.All turks are Black-hear and they are not Blond like Kivanc.Kivanc has a suspicious face,eyes and character.He is not Albanian,but he can be between Serbian or a Russian guy.Why? i would like all the arab people to stop judging people with their religions. I used to be in that way because I was thinking in such a primitive way. There are two types of people: muslim and non-muslim. like people for heaven people for hell.
well, this is totally bullshit. Life is complicated, we have many limitations. You were born in a muslim country, I was born in a muslim country and we are muslim. Does it mean that everybody has to be muslim? What if we were born in a christian country? How many of us would search and change religion to muslim? If we were exactly the same person, would we go to hell just because we were born in a non muslim family?
What I think is -beyond all the soap opera staff and kivanç the goddess- we should stop prejudice about people’s orijins and ideas. We should be humanistic and care about love and peace for the whole world. Please rather than discussing religion and killing eachother or feeling happy to guaranteee paradise in the second life, let us go and do some science. The truth is all the muslim countries are living poor life standards and not developed. We have too much to do. Wish you all the best, I hope you will like Turkey and escape from the dogmas surrounding you. I also hope my country would not change to a narrow minded place.
