Barack Obama’s grandmother Madelyn Dunham has died of cancer in Hawai, at the age of 86, just one day before the American election!
Obama’s grandmother, who had been gravely ill, was a rock of stability, giving him the American roots that would ground his teenage years as well as his career in politics. Recently, Obama suspended his campaign for part of two days to return to Honolulu to be at her bedside.
May her soul rest in peace!
