Haifa denied bribing the secretary of the World Music Award association, Melisa Korkan to receive the award, during a telephone interview with Elaph.
Secretary Korkan accused Haifa of trying to bribe her.
Haifa announced that she is going to sue Korkan for “spreading lies” about her.
Haifa’s public relations office released a statement that Korkan’s accusations are false, and that she will be sued for damaging Haifa’s reputation, and the singer will only back out on her lawsuit if Korkan makes a public apology to Haifa.
Haifa does not need to buy an award; she already has earned the love and respect of her fans, read the statement.
According to the London daily Elaph, Haifa is presently in Cairo to shoot her latest film “Dokan Shahateh” (Shahateh’s Supermarket) under the famous Egyptian director Khaled Yousif.
